I’m torn because I love Meg & Dia and I love Dia’s voice, but the way that she’s acting on the show like she hasn’t toured and been a big star and the fact that she has been on tour and had a label doesn’t seem fair. At least Frenchie flat out said she was on Broadway. I hope Xenia makes it just because she’s fresh. I love Dia, but, yeah. I really don’t want to get hate for this. I’m not trying to be mean, it’s just my opinion.
I always thought Dia exuded this aura of ingenuity. Her tears and sniffling during elimination didn’t win her any favors. She’s a great artist and I enjoy her performances, but her personality made me less than inclined to ever be her fan. I wanted Xenia through to the finals. She may be a shy 16 y/o with stage fright, but she’s got this unique, wonderful voice that wins me over every time. I’ll just have to wait and see where she goes from here.
