you know, drawing neopets / creatures of any kind gets me to experiment with colors and coloring way more than usual
I’m not sure why that is, but considering how I used to finish drawing lines, mindlessly plop dead awful colors then attempt to fix said dead awful colors by assing together filters / shitty textures, this is a healthy exercise

like in the previous gens the legendary pokemon had been legendary, but they’d always been very tied to the physical realm. They were less like deities and more like great and powerful beasts you had tamed
